Have you come across in the news or in magazines of a little, round berry that is blackish-purple in color and grows only at the tops of palm trees in the Amazon rain forest of South America? Do you give up? It is called the acai berry, and it carries several surprising health benefits. The taste is scrumptious; it tastes like a blend of chocolate and fruit. There are over 11 million people in the US and 240 million in the world today suffering from hemorrhoids. Many wake up to this extreme pain in there rectal area and simply wonder what can hurt so badly? They soon find out just what are hemorrhoids. The medical definition is pads of tissue in and around the anal area. There also known as swollen veins in the anal canal. Veins can also swell inside the anal canal; this is known as internal hemorrhoids. Some people have had both forms of hemorrhoids at the same time.

However, most people are unaware of the symptoms; Hemorrhoid Symptoms awareness is the key way to eliminate the stress associated with hemorrhoids. People within the ages of 45-65 are more likely to exhibit from hemorrhoid symptoms; however, even children are capable of having hemorrhoids. These hemorrhoids are specifically an issue when they become swollen and inflamed, causing pain and discomfort.
