Bleeding Hemorrhoids

Just about everyone knows what a hemorrhoid is, but what are bleeding hemorrhoids? Is it the same, or are bleeding hemorrhoids worse? This article will explain what bleeding hemorrhoids are and its characteristics, including how it can be caused and what symptoms they have.

What consists of a Hemorrhoid?

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum or around the anus. They are simple but very painful. They normally are caused by stress, being pregnant, being overexerted, drinking, and smoking. They normally can range in intensity from mild to severe. For the most part hemorrhoids are treatable with home remedies but some cases may need professional medical help. Home treatments can consist of using a sitz bath, applying creams or ointments, and by changing your diet. If you add more fiber in your diet you’ll soften your stool and prevent flare ups. However if you let them go then more than likely you’ll develop an extreme case and will require surgery or other medical procedures to treat bleeding hemorrhoids. This most of the time is done by a hemorrhoidectomy. This is done by surgically removing the bleeding hemorrhoids or hemorrhoids.

Bleeding hemorrhoids causes and treatments

Bleeding Hemorrhoids can be internal or external. They are called bleeding hemorrhoids because they bleed. They are very common when you don’t treat the hemorrhoids right. This is a bad type of hemorrhoids and if you have bleeding hemorrhoids you need to be seen right a way by a doctor. The symptoms of bleeding hemorrhoids will depend if you have an internal hemorrhoid or external hemorrhoid. They will include blood oozing out of the infected area. The most common sign of bleeding hemorrhoids are blood in the stool and blood when you wipe after using the restroom. If you have these symptoms you need to see a doctor right a way. Weakness in the rectal walls can also cause your hemorrhoids to turn into bleeding hemorrhoids.

Bleeding hemorrhoids can be painful and scary at first to those who suffer from them, and they always require the attention of a qualified physician. Knowing the symptoms and causes of bleeding hemorrhoids is the first step to obtaining relief from the discomfort caused by this affliction.

The symptoms of Bleeding Hemorrhoids

Symptoms of bleeding hemorrhoids are the same as regular hemorrhoids except them bleed regularly. The most obvious sign will be blood in the stool when you use the bathroom. If you have noticed blood when you wiped or in or on the stool you more than likely have bleeding hemorrhoids and should seek help right a way. Some times this is a sign of more serious problems other than hemorrhoids, including colon cancer. Other symptoms include severe anal itching and sharp pain in the rectum. If you have extreme itching with blood in the stool it’s a good chance your dealing with bleeding hemorrhoids. The same with sharp pain in the rectum, if you have that with bleeding in the rectum then you have bleeding hemorrhoids. Hard lumps around the anal are signs of bleeding hemorrhoids as well. Mucus coming out of the anal opening is another sign. If you have had any of these symptoms lately with blood in the stool you need to see a doctor right a way. They wont go a way on there own and will get worst over time!
