The same with sharp pain in the rectum, if you have that with bleeding in the rectum then you have bleeding hemorrhoids. Hard lumps around the anal are signs of bleeding hemorrhoids as well. Mucus coming out of the anal opening is another sign. If you have had any of these symptoms lately with blood in the stool you need to see a doctor right a way. They wont go a way on there own and will get worst over time!
