If you don’t know by now, learning CPR first aid is a civic duty for each and every person. As understanding and knowledge has increased, methods of basic first aid and CPR have changed. Now there is a more universal understanding of just how to give first aid and CPR to people suffering from a wide range of illnesses or injuries. Obviously, the process and procedure that are incorporated into CPR and first aid instruction must be simple and memorable enough that they are remembered without too much thought involved.

In many countries, CPR and first aid training and certification is promoted by the government to assure that each and every citizen has the basic skills to help during an emergency situation. There are different types of health and safety certifications that you can get, involving adult CPR, child CPR, infant CPR, first aid certification and many others. In order to receive one of these certifications, you can attend a basic medical class personally or you can now take them online. These days, taking a first aid or CPR class online is much more practical, as it saves time, is less formal and allows for convenient and fast learning.

Been proficient at first aid is something that is important for all of us. Whether we are members of sports organisations, nominated first aiders at work, or are youth leaders where a knowledge of first aid is demanded, or merely want the skills should they be required, there are plenty of places to learn them.
