Hemorrhoids Treatments: Ways to Treat Hemorrhoids

There are millions of people in the world today with hemorrhoids. These hemorrhoids cause people like you pain and embarrassment every minute of the day. There are treatment options out there but the Hemorrhoid Ttreatment options vary from easy to severe. In this article we will discuss the options that are available and ways to prevent hemorrhoids from forming.

When your rectum veins swell or become irritated they form a hemorrhoid. The hemorrhoid can be very small or can be extremely large in size. The small ones are usually blue or purple while the big ones are red. Whether small or large they will cause painful sensations and extreme itching as well as some bleeding. They can form outside the rectum or on the inside of the anal cannel. Many different factors can contribute to the forming of hemorrhoids these include over exertion, pregnancy, alcohol abuse, obesity and sometimes smoking to much will cause hemorrhoids. They can appear once in your lifetime or you can have them repeatedly. Most of the people who get hemorrhoids will get external hemorrhoids.

When it comes to the hemorrhoids treatment options the best thing anyone can do is to treat the symptoms as soon as they appear. When you ignore them, even for the slightest amount of time they will get worst and will cause extreme problems down the road. By letting them go they will turn into a trombosed hemorrhoid and trust me when I tell you this you want no part of a trombosed hemorrhoid! They are one of the more extreme painful hemorrhoids. To prevent the hemorrhoid from being trombosed you want to keep the swelling down and your blood in the rectum circulating.

Most people with hemorrhoids rely on ointments and creams to treat them. Most of the common ointments used are Faku, Proctosedyl, and Nupercainal. These are known to contribute to hemorrhoids treatment options every year. Other natural home remedies used with these creams are baths and sitz baths. If you use these creams and take regular baths you will alleviate most symptoms fast without having to see a doctor.

There are additional hemorrhoids treatment options that involve medical procedures. One is called “rubber band ligation”, in which a band is placed around the hemorrhoid, depriving it of blood. A process called “infrared coagulation” is one of the most common non-surgical ways to remove a hemorrhoid, as is sclerotheraphy, which involves a hardening agent injected into the hemorrhoid itself. You can actually undergo surgery in a hemorrhoidectomy, but some forms of this are usually limited to severe hemorrhoids. In place of a hemorrhoidectomy, one can undergo a procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH), which doesn’t have as much risk, to nerve endings in the affected area.

What ever hemorrhoids treatment options you choose make sure you first consult your doctor first. Hemorrhoids can be painful and bothersome, but with the right treatments outlined above, anyone can get help to deal with the inconvenience caused by hemorrhoids. The best thing to do is to seek help right away. One thing is for sure they wont go away on there own with out some type of treatment. Remember the longer you ignore them the worst it will be when you finally do decide to seek treatment.
