Is cleaning bad for allergies?

Cleaning is something that everyone does or needs to do. Some may have to do it more than others, but cleaning is something that should be done on a regular basis to try and control the allergens for those who suffer with allergies.

When individuals clean their homes or offices, dust and dirt is going to be stirred up. When the dirt is stirred up, the particles begin to float in the air, and when this happens, the ones who are doing the cleaning may start to sneeze, wheeze or cough. Anyone who is near the area being cleaned can show the same symptoms. All of a sudden, they may also get a headache, while feeling heavy or tight in their chest and sick to their stomachs.

Depending on the person and how severe the allergies are, the person may also experience some bleeding in the nose from the dust that gets inside of it making it irritated and dry. When this happens, the person should get out of the area where the dust and dirt is right away. If the symptoms persist, there may be a need to receive some medical attention.
